Spiral Welded Pipes Production Process

Unwinding Steel Coil: A long, continuing strip of steel is termed a hot-rolled coil that is unwound and guided to the forming section.

Forming: The strip is continuously formed into a spiral through special formation rollers.

Welding: The edges of the strip are welded using submerged arc welding (SAW) method applied from inside, outside, or both.

Inspection & Testing: The welded pipes are subjected to non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques like ultrasonic or radiographic testing to confirm the quality of the welds.

Cutting & Finishing: The pipe is cut to the required length and then passed through finishing processes, which may include end-facing and coating.
