Carbon Steel Pipes
Kasugai’s carbon steel pipes come in a variety of grades, including SA/ASTM A106 Gr.B/C, API 5L Gr.B, ASTM A53-B, SGP, ASTM A333Gr.6/3, and ASTM A139 (Spiral Pipe). These grades ensure that the pipes meet the mechanical and chemical prop- erty requirements suitable for different applications. The carbon steel pipes conform to the ASME B36.10M standard, which specifies the dimensions and tolerances for seamless and welded steel pipes.
Formed by drawing a solid billet over a piercing rod, resulting in a pipe without seams. Seamless pipes are preferred for high-pressure applications and critical infra- structure, where the absence of weld seams enhances their strength and reliability.
Coating: The pipes are available in two types of coat- ings:
• Black Paint (B.I Pipes): This coating provides a protec- tive layer against corrosion and is suitable for general purpose applications.
• Hot-Dipped Galvanized (G.I Pipes): The galvanized coating enhances the pipe’s resistance to rust and corro- sion, making it ideal for environments where moisture and corrosive elements are present.
Stainless Steel Pipes
Kasugai’s stainless steel pipes are available in ASTM A312 TP304 and TP316 grades, known for their excellent corrosion resistance and strength. These stainless steel pipes comply with the ASME B36.19 standard, which covers the specifications for welded and seamless stainless steel pipes.
